10 am - 1230 pm Still Life Drawing Workshop with Andra Dahl. Andra is a Moss Vale based artist and art teacher, whose skill base includes pastels, oils, acrylics, pencil and charcoal. She is conducting a series of workshops during Winterfest suitable for all skill levels. This one is focused on sketching with pencil and other drawing tools and covers the fundamentals of pencil use, composition, drawing styles, shading techniques to create shape and form. Great for both the learner and those more experienced wanting to sharpen their skills. Cost $20. 9 am - 4 pm Mountain Bike Skills Clinic This clinic with instructors Rod McGee and Fiona Dick is open to all who want to learn the basic skills and improve existing ones. You will be shown techniques which will enable you to ride more confidently, efficiently and tackle new terrain. This workshop will teach participants the techniques of making the beautiful lentil swirl bead.
